Walkabout Creatures

We have two striking interactive puppet creatures who can add a touch of fun and magic to any festival or event.

YesheYeshe the Yak

Yeshe is a gentle, mysterious and curious yak. He's very fond of children especially those who might carefully stoke his nose or tickle his fringe.

He is a one-person puppet about 6 feet tall and 12 feet long with a very articulate and emotive head. He is accompanied by a handler/musician.

Yeshe and Handler
Yeshe is available for up to three 45-minute walkabouts a day. He is ideal in parks, fields and other green spaces

VeronicaVeronica

Veronica is a mythical creature somewhere between a giraffe, a llama and a feather duster. She is very nimble and playful and loves to play games and dance with children of all ages.

She is a two-person puppet, about 10 feet tall. Her articulate head reaches down to child level and her mouth can open and close. She has bells built into her costume and shakes her shaggy (hand-dyed silk) body to show her excitement.

Veronica in HebdenVeronica is available for up to three 45-minute walkabouts a day. She is at home in both quiet green spaces as well as on the streets or at the fair--especially if there is a bit of music she can dance to.
